The concert centerpiece will be the World Premier performance of the song titled “WITH INVINCIBLE VALOR”, commissioned by the Jericho Brass Band for this occasion, and written, composed and directed by Internationally renowned Steven Bulla, the former chief arranger and composer for the United States Marine Band.
The concert will also feature and honor the five servicemen who were killed in a terrorist attack on the Chattanooga Naval Reserve Center in 2015. The song entitled “FIVE”, was written by UTC’s own Kenyon Wilson to memorialize their service.
In addition, several patriotic salutes and songs that reflect and encourage our patriotism and freedom in this beautiful country will be performed. The music will recognize each of our various services and their role in protecting, and securing our freedom over the years since 1776.
Please bring all of your family, friends, and neighbors to the Raymond Hayes Concert Hall on the University of Chattanooga-Tennessee campus to participate in a day selected to honor all who have served, bled and died so that we might continue to live our lives as a free people.
We at Jericho Brass Band will work hard to make this concert event one that will be an unforgettable event!
